Question A different horn?

Hello all, I am new here! Anyway, I just bought a 98' Ford Mustang GT, and I LOVE IT! Anyway, I also got a Dixie Horn for it, but, here is the problem! I am 15, and my dad said that putting a Dixie Horn on it might short the whole system out! Would any of you guys know anything about this? Please help! Thanks!

15, with a 98GT...what's this world coming to? Your parents must not like having you around much...
Sorry, can't help with your problem. Had to vent. I wasn't able to get my first(96) GT 'till I was almost 26(5 mo. ago).
