Thumbs up

Well Unit, I must say that you made one hell of a great post. This isn't because it pumps up the site as being great really, but because you hit the nail on the head of why I founded The Mustang Works in the first place. The whole idea back in 1995 was to create a place on the Web for all the Mustang enthusiasts just beginning to come into the online world where they could all gather, share information, and communicate. A place where everyone with a Mustang could learn how to modify and race their pride and joy without making all the hard, and expensive, mistakes that I did and learning the hard way. I wanted to do something to help my fellow Mustang owners and make it easier for them than it was for me more or less.

I never realized at the time it would become as large and important to the Mustang world as it has today or a home for so many people, but it's been a nice surprise that so many people have, infact, come to think of this site as their home. Also as a place that they not only learn about their vehicle, but form online relationships and form friendships with many fellow enthusiasts. Some times friendships that move offline when they are able to meet them in person, which I think has been the best benefit of the entire MustangWorks.com story. I myself have come to know and form friendships with people I would have never even known, much less met, if it weren't for this Web site. And, in my own way, it's been amazing that I myself have been able to not only help people in this hobby, but also that I've been able to help effect / shape some of its history (which is a whole story into itself about all the ways MustangWorks.com has effected the Mustang aftermarket industry or peoples lives).

All I can say though really is that this site would be nothing without all the usage and support that it receives from all of you, it's members, readers, and audience. And, the encouragement and praise that I've received from everyone here over the years has been what's really kept me going (and I'm sure the entire MW staff too!) and why I've continued to run this site despite the time, sacrifices, and money investment required to do so. Basically though, I'm just humbled that MustangWorks.com has the power to effect so many people's lives and that we definitely have the best Mustang community on the Net!
