Well, I would u pulley the blower down, however my overall compression of 9.5:1 might not be a good idea, depending on how much porting can get the compression down. Also, I have the car tuned w/ autologic software, more boost would throw the tune off more so than having the heads and intake ported, as confirmed by jim larocca. Also, changing the pulley on the D1SC would probably net me around 40+hp easily, however I need to pull the heads on the car to fix a leaky head gasket, so I am definetly getting them ported while off. My logic is, why not try to work with what I have, esp. since I have a stock bottom end w/ hypeuretic pistons, and stock rails and fuel lines; working with what I have as in boost. Basically I am trying to make more power by just opening things up, which I 'think' I can do by having the heads ported. Even if I wont be making more boost, I should be moving alot more air,,,which would mean more power, does that make sense?
