You don't really want the secondaries to open all at once unless you want a huge bog at lower RPM. That's what the vacuum secondaries do, they wait till the engine can handle the extra flow and then they do it proportionally. A spring kit will let you tune that secondary opening earlier or later and faster or slower as needed. That's a great thing about Holley, they're ultimately tunable.
