				 | SN95 Smog Pump Drama Well how many people here can say that their Mustang broke down IN the shop??? Hum...that many huh? I had the Mustang at a muffler shop finishing the new pipes, and I get a call this morning (car was supposed to be done Thursday) and the dude is telling me that SOMEHOW, the 1 year old water pump locked up...*sigh* So...its been a week, and body count amounts to 1 new 315 tire, new pipes, and now a new pump... So after AAA tows it to my machine shop, we find out its NOT the water pump *good* its the smog pump *bad* because for those of you that don't know, the 94-95ers cannot bypass it with a shorter belt, and a new one retails for about $110. My question is, have any SN95 5.0ers gutted theirs? Know where to find a cheap one? |
