You can put whatever you want in a Fox, even a 5.4 Lightning motor. I don't think you have to do any cutting to put a mod motor in a Fox. The 4.6 K-member will bolt right into a Fox and vice-a-versa. I think there may be an issue with the brake booster due to the extra width, though - may have to go to a newer-style setup.
