I believe most all 302's came with a 1/6 rocker on them, as far as the 3 angle valve job goes, I can't say for sure. If I had to guess I would say no, but that's only a guess. How old are these heads? If they have any miles on them I would reccomend a 3 angle valve job. Are you doing the machine work yourself? Good luck with everything. I believe those heads came on explorer's from the factory, but again I could be incorrect. I have been in and out of the mustang hobby since approx. 1995, but I thought I read that somewhere one time. Take care.
