Atmospheric=prformance? How much?
I'm just wondering how much atmospheric conditions should affect performance? I live right down near the coast of Texas and that means almost always somewhat humid and near sea level. Seems like ambient temp makes a lot of difference as to how my car performs at the drag strip. I realize that it affects eveyrone equally in a drag race.
It seems that I lose .5 seconds or more when I run at 90 deg F as apposed to 40 deg F. Is that reasonable or do I just need more work on air/fuel mix? Thanks for any insight on this. Rev
