Gosh, do you think you might have some suspension problems? With things being as nasty as you say, I would start with the basics. Even the mounting points for the rear springs and stress cracks in the shock towers. From there check out both front and rear springs and shocks. Then the other suspension components. Stock mustangs are not great handlers but they are not as bad as you are experiencing. Get that car to a good suspension shop.
