First of all you need to evaluate what you want to do with the car. Daily driver, Total restore, or Restomod. This will have a large influence on picking OEM or repro parts, OEM are usually the better parts but alot of repros are quality made, you will have to evaluate this on a part by part basis.
You do not have to pull everything to have it painted but do you want the whole car painted? engine bay, undercarriage, etc.
You also need to let us know what kind of shape the car is in, is it drivable, does it have any rust?
As you can see alot of decisions to make, try to make a game plan on what you want to do first and go from there, a big mistake is to start too many projects at once!
