I have driven a 67' GTO with a 400, total frame off resto. Guy (at the time) wanted $6500 for it. I got into it and said to myself "Hmmm, I figured GTO's were faster than this?". This was while I had the Camaro. I love GTO's, wouldn't mine having one someday, but I wasn't impressed.

Also, I go to the Nostalgia drags where I see big blocks mustering 14's, a few mid to high 13's, and a couple in the 15's. I will scratch the 15's for bad driving but still. My 69' ran 13.80's and you are telling me that my only chance of beating a big block is if it's worn out?

O.K., so a SS 396 Chevelle with 325hp and a Turbo 400 would take an SS 350 Chevelle with 300hp and a Turbo 350? Don't think so.

I don't buy your definition of a "Muscle Car". It's an opinion with nothing to back it up of any substance.

No flames here, just a friendly debate.
