for those of us who actally have stripped many a mustang would know what there is not way in hell that thewre is only a 20lbs difference..the 89 sounds about righ...poeple saying 200-300 isnt right UNLESS you are compariing a 87 notch to a 90-93 GT..just guestimating but the sides weigh about 10lbs a peice, the rear bumper weighs about 10 lbs more, the front another 10lbs more and the foglight assembly another 20-30lbs..dont forget the weigth diffrence in seats in GT;s and LXs when the 5.0s came i the LX originally(87-88)...87 notchback was the lightest EFI mustang ever made..my 87 notch ex 4 banger is even lighter!
