![]() Ok, the last time I drove my car it ran great. Every now and then I had a little idle trouble when I would first start it up when it was warm.
Today I put on a Black Magic electric fan, and when I started the car (with the fan off), it ran at about 1000 rpm, then dropped to 500, then to 800, then back and forth until it finally died out. I restarted it, and it did the same thing, but when I gave it gas it ran fine. So I shut the car off and and pulled the greey peice out of that wire (I can't think of the name of it, the thing you pull to adjust the timing), and loosend the distributor. when my friend restarted it, I moved it just a bit and it idled a little better and then died out. I moved the dist accidentally and I heard the fuel pump come on and shut off (like when you first put the key in), and I moved it again, and it did it again. I was like what the hell is going on? Someone please help me! |
