I've already tried to clean the idle air bypass but it only seemed to work for about 5 min. I installed an adjustable idle air bypass plate between the stock unit and the throttle body. This seems to bring the surge down to 200-500rpm. I've been told that an EEC-tuner will help me program the computer to recognize the blower but I want to be sure before I spend $700. And yes I do have stock injectors, Vortech claims this blower will work just fine with all stock hardware. Thanks for your help and let me know if you think of anything.
