![]() I just got done replacing the wires, plugs, rotor and distributor and the car doesn't run smooth, it almost sounds lopey. It slightly hesitates each time you push the gas. Earlier I had asked about the plug gap, the parts computer said either .045 or .054. Well we pulled the plugs and they were roughly .048 gap on each plug, so we went ahead and gapped the plugs at .045. When the plug wears the gap opens up right? So anyways, maybe one of the plugs or wires are bad. Or my father thinks maybe we should check the timing. I was excited to get the car running great again, as these plugs have obviously not been changed for some time. Really need help guys. We also checked the wire order 3 or 4 times. Help.
