When I put my flowmasters on I started getting that backfire noise when I rev it up high and let off the gas. I know that it is supposed to do that and I think it sounds cool. Does anyone know why this happens. The reason I asked is because I traded my holley for an edelbrock performer and I lost that sound. I miss the sound so much that i think I might switch back to the holley.
Before i go out and buy anything does some one know why it makes this sound.
