![]() 96GTS are you sure about those tire sizes? I only ask because I was told that the widest tire I could run on my 17X8's is a 255.
A 245 tire is 9.6" wide A 255 tire is 10" wide. A 275 tire is 10.8" wide A 285 tire is 11.2" wide With a 8" rim and a 285 tire you have 3.2" of tire hanging over the edge of the rim. I'm not an expert, or saying your wrong, I want to go wider on the back and I'm about to buy tires (in the next week or so) so If this is true, man I'll get the tires I WANT. ![]() |
