![]() The 1993-94 Camaro RS models did use the 3.4L (L34) engine; switching to the 3.8 (L36) in '95 but I believe GM was offering the 3.4 as a base engine in '95. '96-97 RS models all came equipped with the 200 HP 3.8 engine. 1997 was the final year of manufacture for the RS model.
Of course, the Camaro RS package was all appearance - not performance. You have nothing to fear from a Camaro RS model that retains the original powerplant, as almost all do. |
