I would say 2.5 turns is way to little, with paste sealant they should begin to tighten around 4-5 turns, completely tight is going to be your call. When tighten these type of fittings I always choked up on the wrench, this reduces torque applied and increases sensitivity felt in your hand. Good luck, you'll love that first hit of spray, It literally is a GAS!
The reason I mentioned doing the brackets first, is I believe in following instructions exactly. ![]()
