![]() In May I flipped my 90 Corvette into an irrigation ditch, I had to break the drivers side window to get out since the doors wouldn't open. I was only in about 2 1/2 feet of water so I wouldn't have drowned, but I didn't know that when I was trying to get out of my car, was coming in and all I could see through the windows was murky water. When I finally got out there were three people standing on the bank of the ditch. ONe of said I'm glad you got out because we didn't know what to do if you hadn't. Hopefully they would have thought of something if I had been underwater long enough.
About a month ago my dad knew a guy who killed in his stealth when he flipped it into a 6 inches of water and drowned because he got knocked unconcious. His friend was saved by other motorists before he drowned. I am very glad I was wearing my seatbelt and did not get knocked unconcious in my accident.
