Code P1443
My girlfriend's '96 Mustang GT intermittently sets a P1443 code. I did a search here and found an old post about it most likely being a sticking purge control solenoid.
Is this something that is just gummed up with carbon and I can clean out with some carb cleaner spray or will the solenoid have to be replaced? Anyone have experience with this? Also, where is the soleniod located... on the charcoal canister? Thanks for your help! |
