![]() I recently bought my mom's 95 mustang off of her for $3000, because that is what the dealership was offering as a trade in. I figured why not. Its an automatic v6 and I was told to supercharge it to get some extra power, along with changing the exhaust and air silencer. All the good stuff that is usually talked about on these posts. I was told to look into buying a used T-bird supercoupe supercharger because it was used on a 3.8 engine and can be found pretty cheap, like $400. Will that just be able to bolt onto the stock 3.8 in my mustang. Would it even provide that much extra horsepower. Would the automatic trans be able to deal with a supercharged engine.
