![]() Let your car roll forward, then back, and put it into reverse, i wouldnt worry about the grinding, that usually happens even to brand new clutches or t-5's, im having the same problem though getting into 1st, i have to push all the way to the floor, and my clutch isnt that old, this is a sign of a worn quadrant, buy an aftermarket one, im told anything other than the stock plastic one is good, also your cable is most likely stretched, i know mine looks burnt....good luck.
