These guys are right. Vert is short for convertible.
Here's something that just crossed my mind.... Convertible.....spelled convertible. The base of the word is convert. You're converting from having a roof, to removing/lowering the roof. The car is able to convert--convert-able. Why isn't it spelled convertable? Man....I'm pathetic. These are the things that go through my head. Welcome to the mind of Ben. Haha. I need to find something to keep me busy and stop thinking these kind of thoughts.      |
