It's not uncommon, but if your burning more than 1 quart in 3000miles I'd think that would be a bit excessive. I went in to change the rear main on mine (what a huge PITA!) and it turned out to be the freaking oil pan gasket leaking
 Now I gotta pull it down and change the gasket, I just don't have the energy for that right now. |
