What really worries me is the fact that the car can't keep idle by itself (I can keep it alive by manipulating the throttle). Also, my vacuum gauge shows no vacuum at idle, but when I hit the gas, the vacuum actuall goes up (from 0 to 15 in hg). Maybe i'm confused, but shouldn't the vacuum go down when you hit the gas? Isnt this backwards? Do you think the fuel pump issue could be causing my idle/vacuum problems?
