Default clearance

should i check the valve to piston clearance on this setup? edelbrock performer heads 1.60 1.90, f-cam w/ 1.7 roller rockers. (i cant remember if the springs handle .560 or .590 lift, this is my buddies combo, im guessing .560) thanks.
