I'd check the condition of your plugs. They'll be able to tell you what's going on more than anything. Also, check the color of the spark by removing a plug wire, connecting a spare plug to it, and lay it somewhere you can see easily and that can act as a ground (plug won't fire if it's not grounded). Crank the engine over and see what color the spark is. Anything other than a white to blue spark is bad, usually indicative of a bad coil. I suggest starting with the ignition system because it's the easiest and quickest system to diagnose.
