![]() Sounds like you need an injector upgrade and larger fuel pump. I would recommend a set of 30# injectors, and a 190 minimum fuel pump.
Also the factory fuel inlet line has several restrictions that can be cut out and replaced with 5/16 or larger ID fuel line. You will find restrictions at the tank, filter, a couple of .190 ID fittings up front just up stream of the fuel rail and a small fitting on the inlet of the fuel rail. I cut all of these out and slipped on fuel line with hose clamps. Be sure to flare out the tubing a little so the hose wont blow off. You can use a 1/4" drill to open the filter ends. The fuel rail fix a little tricky but if you can't figure out how to fix it let me know. I never realized how small and ID some of these connections are. ------------------ 88 347, Twisted wedge heads,Comp Cams 224/230 cam, 1/4=10.718 @ 123.02 mph dyno= http://www.fbody.com/members/LarryS/mustdyno.jpg [This message has been edited by 8850 (edited 05-26-2001).] |
