Question I am buying a used ProCharger and need advise on anyone that knows....

I will be buying a used ProCharger from a guy that had it on a real nice 306 set up....I do not know what model it is but it is intercooled and it is fully adjustable, but forgot the boost numbers. He said it performed like a bad out of hell but it liked to push gaskets out when he turned the boost to like 15 pounds and more.....I plan to keep it low. It has less than 20,000 miles on it and it was driven by an older guy that knows his stuff. The guy wants 1800 for it all and I bought a Tremec off of him last year and it performs awesome. I really trust the guy alot. I know I will have to up my fuel system in every aspect. But is there anything I need to know.....after having it tuned will I have to constantly have it tuned....anyone out there have a ProCharger and had it run forever with basic maintenance and not run like crap. I wanna know if I am getting myself into drama or will it be a non drama set-up. I will have it installed and tuned to make sure it runs great. It will be installed on a 331, AFR 185 heads, Edelbrock RPM intake, 70mm TB, 75mm mass air, equal length headers, 4.10 gears, Tremec 5speed, 24ler's. thanks for any advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
