I bought my heads already ported and polished off of E-bay. I paid $200.00 for them I then took them to the machine shop and had them milled and I also had them put a 3 angle valve job on all the valves why I was at it I had them install some trick flow springs. I have a total of $450.00 in the heads.

I trap 101 mph with an 88GT vert with stock cam and rockers @3000ft. So I would say without a doubt it is worth it.

If I were you I would just buy some already ported ones off of ebay like I did, they are on there all the time. Then get them milled down to bump your compression a little bit.

With the stock intake I imagine you would still see some good gains.

Stock my car trapped 88mph. After I installed the ported heads, explorer intake, full exhaust and gears I trapp 101.

Pretty good bang for the buck if you ask me.

Later,
