something is wrong.
What kind of fuel pressure do you have?? And are you running 12* and a chip??? that could be like 16* timing. I would dump the chip...it should still pull hard to about 5500. 4.10's alone put my notch in the 13.80-13.90's w/ trap speed around 100.
