![]() I might be changing my transmission oil (T-5) this weekend and will be putting some nice fresh Red Line D4 in. I just was wondering if it is necessary to put a sealer on the threads of the fill/drain plugs when I put them back on. A friend of mine has an SHO and he said he put something called Blu-Blocker that's made by Hercules on the plugs because he was getting leaks. I'm just curious whether or not it is necessary to put a sealer on and if not if it would hurt anything if I put some on anyhow. Do they put any kind of sealant on them from the factory?
