Yep, SAC = Strategic Air Command.
It's located at Offutt AFB near Omaha. It's a 14,000 square foot underground facility that would serve as one of the nerve centers for national defense and government following a nuclear attack. It is hard-linked to over 200 sites world wide which and has its own underground generators and is EMP sheilded which would allow operation and communication even following a high altitude nuke blast and the accompanying EMP which would wreak havock on electromagnetcs across the nation. They'd probably drop at least 2 high yeild strategics on the site to ensure total destruction. --nathan
