Default clutch specifics

Another clutch question...
This is for the guys that know there stuff, please...

I'm not a mechanic, but I am an intellectual who has always done his own car repair and plays with a Mustang as a hobby and this is what my intellect tells me...

It is my understanding that an adjustable clutch quadrant adjusts the area the pedal travels and a firewall adjuster adjusts when the clutch engages during this travel, do I have it right?
