clutch cable stretch?

for awhile now it has seemed like my car goes into gear hard..but the harder i press the pedal to the floor the easyer it is..is there a way to adjust it? the previous owner said they put a HD clutch in but dont know if there full of BS or not?

also..my third gear synco is bad..can the tranny be droped and put in with long tubes still on just the H pipe off?
