![]() Ok, I drove my car to and from work today. 40 miles round trip, and I could smell the cluth burning, if thats what the smell is. After talking with you guys, and a few guys at work, they think its the clutch too. How much damage am I doing to this clutch by driving it? I can't get the car to the mechanics until tuesday afternoon. Am I better off letting my wife drive it 15 miles round trip to work than I am taking it 40? I would love to stop driving it now and have it worked on, but we both need our cars to get to work in. Any help here is really needed. I am feeling pretty dumb about the whole thing, especially since my wife was with me to witness it!
