Question Found a 351 - Now what?

I found an older 351 block. I'm not sure what year it is yet, but hopfully when I go look at it the guy can tell me this info. He has a set of heads also but I was wondering if I should go ahead and use my ported E7 heads which have been shaved .030 and have a 3 angle valve job with Crane springs setup for my F cam. Or, should I get those heads and put my springs on them and shave them a little to make sure they're flat and have a valve job done on them?

Also, is the F303 cam a good cam for a 351? I plan to go with Twisted Wedge heads (later on) and Trick Flow intake and use my 65mm TB and 76mm C&L meter along with the 24lb injectors for now.

Thanks.
