Get they heads.
You'll gain more hp from swaping heads onto your 302 than you will by stroking it with stock heads. Not to mention a stroker is a LOT more expensive than a set of heads. I think $1200 is just the cost of the kit. Not to mention that the 347 rod to stroke ratio is horrible. If you want the motor to last more than 50K miles, get the heads.
