You have to use an inside coil spring compressor. goto anyone that deals tools. snap-on , mac or if you have a Lordco in your area I got mine from them for 160 but you do have to modify it by taking 2-3" off the threads for the spring to fully compress. then you have to remove the lower controll arm and install the spring on it. then slide the compressor through the controll arm and in throuhg the spring and grab the coils with about 3 coils left above the compressor. Compress the spring and jack up the controll arm into position, then re install the 2 bolts holding it in place and bolt up the strut. then when everything is in place and bolted up just release the spring. Now I was told by Mopac auto performance to take off about 4 coils in the front and a few in the rear too just to compensate. Its all about personal preferance with the ride height but just remember that with the 2 coils that I took off my struts were at max extent. if you leave the coils the way they are you will get 0 weight transfer, and thats what you want, lots of squat. im running the lakewood 90/10s up front and the comp engineering 2 way adjustable shocks in the rear. where you can have 70/30 50/50 which is stock or 60/40. im also using hotchkis adjustable uppers and hotchkis lowers with UPR sapherical axle housing bushings. that rear end is not gonna move at all.
