Yep, I remember that darn trolley!! I didn't really watch the show too much because I thought the guy was so boring! But in his defense, I think his softspokenness and gentle demeanor had a much-needed calming influence on kids. Lord knows, lots of kids need that!
What gets me is that everybody and his brother used to bash Mr. Rogers while he was alive...I mean people in the media. He was the butt of all jokes. (Undeservedly, IMHO.) Now that he's passed away, the media are getting all sappy about it! Personally, I think they're being two-faced, but that's just me.  I think he did our kids a great service, and for that I thank him. May he R.I.P. in his new neighborhood.
