![]() jimmy..all I can tell you is this..from my observations and listening.. During normal acceleration, I never hear the differential whine except it hits 2nd..for the first few seconds it's nothing, but then it starts to whine until it shifts into 3rd..then nothing and nothing in Overdrive either. When I'm braking behind someone, it howls as the tranny downshifts from Overdrive back to 3rd... And when I hold the car in first gear and accelerate slowly, after it picks up a few mph, it whines a little bit, and kinda comes in and out....
