Well, why not? You could spend a whole lot of money for a personal trainer to get your backwards walking really fast. You could get a pair of really crazy cross trainers too! When walking to the bathroom, you still won't beat me in my forward walking work shoes, but hey, at least you'd be different and look sooo cool!!!
