![]() AS for the air intake and silencer... if you take off your stock airbox there's a "thing" in the hole left in the fender... take that out... that's free power... though not much... but it's free...
if you got with a COLD AIR INTAKE like a mac or whomever it'll cost you around 100 bucks unless you get one of those cheapy ones off ebay, wich is fine too, but eitherway I would say your HP gain might be 1HP... cause your car comes from the factory with cold air intake..I mean... when you install those CAI kits, you're not drilling any news holes... that air was comming from there anyway...what you really do is... "theoreticaly" smooth out the air flow with those nice tubes... and clean up the engine compartment... witch is a nice feature and frankly is the biggest gain you get. Though with those metal tubes you actulay have parts now that absorb heat very well... some companies make those intakes out of a heat resistant plastic ...so you end up introducing heat to the intake path anyway. -as
