				 |   I've done long nasty burnouts, quick spins to knock the dirt off, and none at all, and it made no difference in 60' times or 1/4 times. Suposedly, if you do a long burnout on regular street tires, it releases the oils in the tires and will shoot your traction to hell. I didn't notice any difference, so I just dry spin them for about 1 to 2 seconds to clean them and then stage. I have never gone through the waterbox with street tires. There's no need to. If you drive a v8 and cant break street tires loose to clean them, you definalety have no business at the track, IMO.  Caymon
