Default exhaust leak..

hey all..I had some bbk equal length headers installed a while ago and now the gaskets started leaking so i replaced them with the copper ones and i installed stage 8 locking header bolts but for some reason i still hear a exhaust leak when i step on the gas. Is it just me or is that somewhat normal? I don't recall hearing it before. should those bolts be torqed down and if so how much and how? i can only get to the first couple ones then i have to use a box wrench because of the equal length. thanks guys...
