![]() The Stock E7 head flows 160cfm @ .50" lift and the stock cam only lifts to just shigh of .45", so any intake flowing over 200cfm is not the ideal match to these heads. The larger the runner you put on a stock E7 head, the more velocity you loose and it will show up in a loss of low/mid range torque and unless you have the cam to gain it back on the top end (not the stocker!) you're not gonna make the best possible torque/power - you need to match the intake/head/cam package. The Cobra family intakes and starter aftermarket intakes all flow more than 200cfm. Not that their a bad choice, just not the optimum choice.
