more than a clutch slipping!!
Well, i knew something was wrong with the clutch, but i get underneath to find two missing bellhousing bolts! on the pass side, the longer bolts, the top ones were there, but loose.
My question is, since this allowed a gap there for oil water ect.. to get in, could that be why my clutch slips now? Also, can i get these bolts from the dealer? right now i found two old head bolts i had, and they seem to fit perfect, is this not a good idea? im thinking the polyurethane trans moount creates vibration, and/or the hard launching i do at the track might cause this, do i have to stop racing to keep everything tight? sheesh..... Why me
