![]() Auto's are a bigger drag on the engine than a 5-speed, all conditions the same for a street car, a manual will beat an auto everytime. Some people go with auto's and manual valve bodies with transbrakes for the strip. They're nice to launch and it's next to impossible to miss a gear. I won't give up my 5-speed for nothing though, except maybe a 6-speed
