Default clack, clack noise

i have noticed that my friends stang was making a wierd noise for a long time and it won't stop. when you start the engine no noise but when it warms up it starts clacking (can't really tell where?) but then goes away then starts again. But when i drive it , the noise is very loud when i am accelerating to 3000 rpm and and when i press the clutch in. it also happens when i am driving under a load, and when i press and let go of the gas pedal quickely. i have inspected the clutch , seems to be fine, i replaced the throwout or release bearing , thatr was shot. but when i went to drive it, same problem. maybe a rod? please help!

by the way : 1997 3.8L 5spd
